The size of sky

To almost all mankind, sky is an experience. We don't really need to learn to feel, to know how big our sky is, although most don't even care.
Yet, the sensation of grandness is not usually felt in our everyday life, although perfectly we are always looking at the same sky, we just feel it differently.
The picture was captured while traveling in Tibet, during a long drive between Chengdu and Lhasa, with driving, the traveling is made in a more slow path that allows the traveller able to appreciate the scenery. Shot with a 39 million pixels Hasselblad H3D39 mounted with HC 120/4 makro lens. The particular use of makro lens is a choice of getting the right crop. My subject is the sky, and to express its grandness I include a beautiful mountain range as a contrast. I could have also use a more winder lens, but I preferred the viewer to have a chance to look at the mountain in a closer view, which gives a stronger sensation of distance, and a sky that matches its scale.
