Living Memory
Not sure how it started but many visitors left their name, remarks on
the wall, all adding up the historical significance of the place.

Shot during my recent visit to Ko at his Ko Studio in Tamsui, Taiwan.
Taken with SONY NEX-7 + E 3.5-5.6/18-55 OSS, the built-in flash burst
of the ceiling created a natural balance fill of this close up portrait of
Master Ko.

Size and quantity of pixels
The photography world has long been in discussion
and debate over the importance of individual pixel performance and the number
of pixels and it only gets further heated after two of the most influential
rivals – Canon and Nikon introduce their popular pro model in February, Canon
5DIII and Nikon D800/D800E respectively. As it is not interesting enough, with
Canon fabricates most of its own DLSR sensors, SONY has been the prime supplier
for the sensors found on most Nikon, and notably, the one on D800/D800E, with
SONY itself eyeing to increase its share in the higher profile DSLR market,
will continue to heat up the discussion.
I use all the systems, and in many ways aware of
limitation of each of the sensor capabilities, and there is no quick answer,
and may be there will not be a final answer as there are too many kinds of
photography, situations of photography, that may need many different
specification of sensor designs. It is all good for the consumers.

Yesterday and today
Ever since its invention back in 1826 by Frenchman Joseph Nicéphore Niépce,
photography has always been an art of involving science and practice, however,
the fact that the image is the reflection mind of the photographer has not
changed much which we continue to observe photographers around the world still
using the most primitive way to create image in modern implementation or the
latest digital offering to create vintage impressions…..or just anything.
The tool can be varied, continue evolved, but human’s mind and
emotion hardly change from time to another.
